These vintage creamy bar stools were reupholstered here in Portland Oregon with a handmade textile sourced from Morocco. The fabric is our signature vegan cactus silk, cool to the touch, and embroidered with traditional Berber symbols. Each stool celebrates a different color berber symbol. The design on the backs of the stools represent the mountains this textile was woven in.
Modern Myth collaborated with Beneath the Bark, and hand crafted this half moon floating bar. We used a solid hunk of maple with easy to install brackets to create a clean simple design & sturdy surface.
This piece would work perfectly as a functional space to dine urban apartment.
